This Privacy Policy explains how Declicy ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

- Account information: name, email, password (hashed), profile details.
- Identifiers and device data: device model, OS version, app version, language, IP address, and device identifiers for analytics and security.
- Usage data: interactions within the App, screens viewed, features used, crash logs, performance data.
- Workout and wellness data: workout plans, logs, goals, measurements (e.g., weight, body metrics), progress notes you choose to enter.
- Photos and media you provide: progress photos or attachments you upload.
- Communications: messages or content you send within the App (e.g., coaching chats), and support inquiries.
- Notifications and preferences: your in‑app settings and opt‑in choices.
- Approximate location: if enabled (e.g., for localization or time‑zone features). We do not collect precise GPS location unless explicitly requested for a feature and you consent.
- Microphone/Camera: only when you choose to record or upload content. No background recording.
We do not collect sensitive health data from Apple Health or Google Fit unless a specific feature is offered and you explicitly opt in. If we introduce such integrations, we will request permission and update this Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the App: account creation, login, personalization, feature functionality.
- Coaching and guidance: generate and adjust workout or meal plans, track progress, and enable chat or feedback features you use.
- Analytics and performance: understand feature usage, fix bugs, and optimize experience.
- Security and integrity: prevent fraud, abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- Communications: send service notices, updates, transactional messages, and—if you opt in—marketing communications.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws and regulatory requests.
3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data based on:
- Contract: to provide the App and requested features.
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the App, and support customer service.
- Consent: for optional features (e.g., marketing, camera/mic access, notifications).

4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and content delivery providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
- Coaching/teammate features: if you use features that involve a coach or collaborator, information you choose to share in that context will be visible to them.
- Compliance and safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights, privacy, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data as long as needed to provide the App, fulfill the purposes described, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion, and we will delete or de‑identify data unless we must retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

- Access, correction, deletion: request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
- Portability: request a copy of certain information in a portable format.

7. California Privacy (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to:
- Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and categories of third parties we disclose to.

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us to request deletion.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Microphone: only if you choose to record audio or attach voice notes.
- Notifications: to deliver reminders, updates, and messages you opt into.
- Motion & Fitness: only if a feature uses activity data and you grant permission.
- Approximate Location: for localization or feature functionality if enabled.
You can change permissions at any time in device settings.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated in‑app or by email.
